Twisted Damascus Drop Point

This blade is a 5.25" 67 layer twisted Damascus. The G10 handle gives an overall length a little over 10.25". The spine is a little over 3/16" thick. I used 1095 and 15n20 for the Damascus. 

With every single hunting or EDC knife I make, I test the tip. I have a chunk of maple I stab the blade into and then rock it back and forth. If the tip snaps, it gets tossed off to the side. This knife survived. I do this because I believe every hunting knife, even little guys like this one, should be able to pop the pelvic on a deer without having to worry about looking this tip.

This will make for a damn good knife to have at your side out in the woods.  It'll handle most anything you can throw at it, and you'll do four deer before you start thinking about bringing out the whet stone.

*The cutting edge is sharpened at a 25°.
