Rasp Drop Point

This one came out of a farriers rasp. The blade is just under 4", and has an overall length of almost 8".  The handle is kirinite. This little guy is perfect for an everyday carry. 

Kirinite is an acrylic compound that has some awesome grip. When it gets wet, it doesn't get slippery. Blood, guts, skine, gristle. The kirinite stays right there. 

With every single hunting or EDC knife I make, I test the tip.  I have a chunk of wood I stab the blade into and then rock it back and forth.  If the tip snaps, it gets tossed off to the side.  This knife survived.  You can comfortably pop a pelvic with this knife and not have to worry about losing the tip.

*The cutting edge is sharpened at a 25°.

**The custom tooled sheath that comes with the knife is 7-8oz leather.
