Orc Chopper

I hammered this one out because I've made an elf short-sword and didn't want anyone calling me a racist for not doing something for the orcs, too.

Forged from a '71 Nova leaf spring, the blade is a little 11.5". The leather-wrapped handle gives an overall length of almost 18".   This beast is a little blade heavy, but it feels pretty damn nice and is very fun to swing. 

For the sheath, I wanted it to match the look of the blade.  I spent a few hours on it, then decided I didn't like how it turned out.  So, I made another, which is what it has now. I'm very pleased with how well it turned out.

*The cutting edge is sharpened at a 25°.

**This knife comes with a hand tooled 7-8oz leather sheath.
