Fillet Knife

Being humble, my fillet knives are good. Being honest, they're fricking awesome. 

This fillet knife is forged from 1095. The blade is a little over 7", and the overall length is a 11.25". The handle is purple heart.

I leave the wood handles with a natural finish using beeswax and mineral oil. This allows you to be able to actually hold onto it when it gets wet. Handles with some kind of varnish slip and slide with the slightest of moisture. Mine have no varnish. 

The blade is a has a flex of about 30°. This one would be great for walleyes. 

*The cutting edge is sharpened at a 20°.
