Drop point Bowie-style Hunter

This is some real steel here.  Hand-forged from a 1937 Ford leaf spring, this drop point Bowie-style knife is 10.5" overall, and will do almost anything you need it to do in the woods.  The steel is 5150, and the handle is black ash burl from Northern Minnesota.  Uncle Jed handtooled the sheath specifically for this knife.

With every single hunting or EDC knife I make, I test the tip. I have a chunk of wood I stab the blade into and then rock it back and forth. If the tip snaps, it gets tossed off to the side. This knife survived. You can comfortably pop a pelvic with this knife and not have to worry about losing the tip.

The cutting edge has been sharpened at a 25°.
