Drop Point

I made this blade from 1080.  The blade measures in at 3.75", and the bocote handle gives an overall length of 8.5".  If you have bigger hands, this is a knife for you.

With every single hunting or EDC knife I make, I test the tip. I have a chunk of maple I stab the blade into and then rock it back and forth. If the tip snaps, it gets tossed off to the side. This knife survived. I do this because I believe every hunting knife, even little guys like this one, should be able to pop the pelvic on a deer without having to worry about looking this tip.

You'll field dress, clean, and quarter four deer with this one before you even start to think about grabbing the what stone.
