Damascus Drop Point

This 4.5" blade is a mosaic twisted Damascus.  The handle is called kirinite.  It's an acrylic compound that doesn't get slipper.  It is some fantastic stuff.  Blood, guts, slime, gristle, the knife stays put in your hand. The overall length is a little under 9".  

This is a knife you pull out at deer camp, and everyone goes, "God damn!"  And you go, "I know. And, no, you can't use it."

With every single hunting or EDC knife I make, I test the tip. I have a chunk of maple I stab the blade into and then rock it back and forth. If the tip snaps, it gets tossed off to the side. This knife survived. I do this because I believe every hunting knife, even little guys like this one, should be able to pop the pelvic on a deer without having to worry about looking this tip.
