Damascus Drop Point

I was going to just do some Damascus san mai, but then I started thinking maybe I should do something different with the 75 layer bar. So, I decided to cut it into four pieces, restack, forge weld, split down the center, forge weld it back together, draw it out, and hammer it into a blade. 

The feather pattern Damascus blade is 5.75". The bog oak and bubinga handle with the brass guard give an overall length of just under 10.75". Perfect for an everyday carry, or great for a hunting knife. The tip will pop a deer pelvic and not even flinch.

With every single hunting or EDC knife I make, I test the tip. I have a chunk of wood I stab the blade into and then rock it back and forth. If the tip snaps, it gets tossed off to the side. This knife survived. You can comfortably pop a pelvic with this knife and not have to worry about losing the tip.
