Damascus Cu Mai takes a lot of time and patience to make, but it's so worth it. It just looks so damn good. This is a knife you pull out at deer camp, and everyone goes, "God damn!" And you go, "I know. And, no, you can't use it."
The blade is 3.75", and the overall length is 7.5". The handle material is black ash burl that came out of Northern Minnesota.
With every single hunting or EDC knife I make, I test the tip. I have a chunk of maple I stab the blade into and then rock it back and forth. If the tip snaps, it gets tossed off to the side. This knife survived. I do this because I believe every hunting knife, even little guys like this one, should be able to pop the pelvic on a deer without having to worry about looking this tip.
*The cutting edge is sharpened at a 25°.
**This knife comes with a hand tooled sheath made from 7-8oz leather.
