This beaut needs to be out and being put to use.
The blade is a little over 4.25", and the overall length is almost 8.75".
This is a 592 layer copper Damascus blade with horn for the handle, and it's a knife you pull out at deer camp to knock out 4-5 deer before sharpening it. Then, when your buddies ask to use it, you laugh at them and ever so politely tell them to f*** off.
Because of the wildebeest horn and the thickness of the blade--a little thicker than 3/16"--, the knife has a little weight to it; but it's not clumsy or cumbersome. You pick it up and you know you can put it to use.
With every single hunting or EDC knife I make, I test the tip. I have a chunk of maple I stab the blade into and then rock it back and forth. If the tip snaps, it gets tossed off to the side. This knife survived.
*The cutting edge is sharpened at a 25°.
**This knife comes with the hand tooled 7-8oz leather sheath.
