Camp Chopper

This chopper was forged from an old leaf spring. The blade measures in at 6.25", and the overall length is a little over 11". The spine is a little under 1/4" thick. If you manage to break this knife, you were doing something either incredibly stupid or you're going to have one helluva story. There is no in-between. 

With every single hunting or EDC knife I make, I test the tip. I have a chunk of maple I stab the blade into and then rock it back and forth. If the tip snaps, it gets tossed off to the side. This knife survived. 

*The cutting edge is sharpened at a 30°.
